U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook is seeking a federal court order to stall and eventually prevent an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. In the 20-page document — filed July 8 with the United States District Court, Middle District of Georgia —...

Talk about grasping at straws! But it did get his orders revoked until the court case, so he did get out of going to Afghanistan. The courts are choked with frivolous lawsuits now, what is one more?

I guess once again truth gets trumped by political reality. While the courts may be overflowing with frivolous lawsuits, this soldier’s case has merit or it would not have made the docket.

I wonder how all the Obama supporters would feel if they do discover that Obama’s citizenship is NOT American. Who will be ”blamed” for allowing him to be on the Democratic ticket.

I see changes happening as Obama promised. None of them are supporting the best interests of all the people, instead of creating jobs for the unemplyed he is creating more entitlement programs that he wants the rich to pay for with highers taxes. Redistribute the wealth? This smells bad to me.

It has no merit, that is what the word frivolous means!
It is in the same league with the judge who sued a dry cleaner for a million dollars over a pair of pants. It should have never been entered on the docket.

The state of Hawaii has a hall of records just like every other state, if we cast dispersions on one government record keeper then all government documents would become null and void.

Why weren’t you complaining when the country’s economy was being destroyed by the very same rich people that you want to give tax breaks to now?

First I am not for giving tax breaks to anyone especially but not exclusively to large corporations, which was where tax revenue was initially provided from.

Second, unless there is absolute proof that there are legal documents that support the ”frivolity” of this lawsuit, it does by legal definition have merit, regardless of what either of our personal opinions may be.

I disagree that if we ”cast dispersions” on one recordkeeper it will make all null and void. It will make the recordkeeper maintain a level of competency and integrity which seems to be lacking within the government, and that is based on results and not some conspiracy theory.

Zealously defending Obama when he and his allies are dodging and deflecting questions directed at them is not the transparency that I feel was part of his campaign platform. If there are questions regarding his birthright and true nationality, then it is incumbent upon him to provide the proof that will settle this issue once and for all.

I do not care how it turns out but I would like to see it end with all of the ”i’s” dotted and the ”t’s” crossed, so to speak.

And here is what I feel, and this is strictly my own feelings and opinions:
Obama will be used as the scapegoat for a political machine that is being run by banks and big corporations, who will continue to enact legislation that will benefit them while destroying the public economy as they have with industry in this once great nation.

That is unless enough people wakeup to what is really happening here and in the rest of the world, and begin to revolt against the deterioration of our national sovereignty.

The first step will be to abolish the Federal Reserve System and then to reform the IRS.

Barack Obama is one man trying to lift a great nation `from its’ kness that financiers have pilaged, raped, and plundered leaving hard working ordianry folk in the cold from loss of work, homes, and retirement funds, to scavange rubbish bins and shelter in the streets.

He is serving his country, does it matter where he is born. I think not. Not in this case. There are more important issues than a scrap of paper that registered him coming into the world. He worked hard to be where he is.

Look, I have no gripe with Obama or his heritage. I do have a problem with a man who would seek and obtain the highest elected office in the nation as a representative to the rest of the world under false pretenses.

I also would commend him for taking swift action in trying to stop the economic down-slide while still maintaining US presence in two foreign nations.

But it is sad to say that his economic advisers worked for the very same banks and corporations that will continue to hold the public hostage as has been demonstrated by the choices made thus far in where all those bailout dollar have gone.

The state of Hawaii provided the birth certificate, end of story. All the schizophrenic, paranoid, delusional, conspiracy theorists sitting in their basements with tin foil over the windows need medication, not people feeding into their irrational fears.

His birth certificate has nothing to do with his economic policies.

So now you will resort to name calling because I refuse to see how a President can be sitting in office when the law states he should not be allowed to run?
It’s not the scrap of paper you refer to as a birth certificate that I am talking about, but the paper we fondly refer to as the Constitution of the united States of America.

And yes, I do have a problem with anyone that thinks just because he is charismatic, may really be doing his best for the people, it shall be dismissed that his presidency was based on fraud.

And yes, I also have a problem with a president that would take from me what I worked for and give it those who expect that the government should take care of them. Especially those that sit on their duffs all day watching soaps and CNN, then have the audacity to tell me that I should pay more taxes because I nake too much? I think you are living in a fantasy world if you think they are entitled to anything other than what they earn.

No, I said that the nut cases do not need to have their delusions addressed but medicated.

Look up... what is the topic of this post?

What does his policies have to do with his birth certificate? Nothing.

If you want to rant about the state of the economy, start a new thread.

I was addressing the topic od an Army Major stating that he refuses to serve for a man he feel is not legally entitled to the office of President. That is all I was addressing.

Now if you feel that this man, a ranking member of the US Army, entrusted with protecting the sovereignty of our nation, is a wack job, then perhaps you should address your assault toward his commanding officer instead of spewing forth liberal rhetoric that serves no useful purpose toward the betterment of the nation.

It is quite obvious from your rancid remarks that you feel a political party or just conspiracy theory nuts are behind this campaign to get to the truth. Perhaps you also believe that I am among them. Personally I do not care what anyone thinks, I only care about actions. My actions speak for themselves. You however will need to demonstrate respect for life regardless of their political views before I would consider continuing a discussion with you. I do thank you however for allowing me the opportunity to see what fanaticism is like up front and personal.

What liberal rhetoric? Saying trust the state of Hawaii to maintain their records is liberal rhetoric? Wouldn’t I be more likely to be a conservative if I were defending the integrity of a government agency?

Besides, do the UFO spotters even have a political party?
